The project is a multicenter study involving the Department of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine, Rigshospitalet, the Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen and the University of Ulm, Germany and Copenhagen University of Applied Sciences. The project itself is divided into 5 Work Packages which, among other things, include the recruitment of 300 healthy controls and 600 patients with type 1 or 2 diabetes mellitus.
