Your role
As a Communications Student Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Commercial & Solutions Europe team, contributing to internal communication initiatives and with the opportunity to influence our external communications. Your primary focus will be assisting the Head of Communications and Communications Assistant Manager in creating and delivering compelling content to enhance awareness and understanding of commercial initiatives across Europe.
In this position, you'll have the flexibility to adapt your work schedule to align with your studies. The expected working hours will be approx. 15 hours per week but may vary depending on both the tasks, your studies, and exams.
Your key tasks and responsibilities include:

Supporting the Communications team in various internal and external communications projects.

Writing compelling and engaging content that turns complex knowledge into digestible information.

Idea generating and bringing text to life by creating digital graphics and visual content that grab attention and keeps colleagues and other stakeholders engaged and informed.

Collaborating with company stakeholders on various events or projects.

Working with our internal comms platforms - our intranet (via WordPress), on SharePoint, Workplace, and our newsletter.
Qualifications and experience

Currently studying BA or MA in business communications, journalism, marketing, or other relevant fields.

Minimum 2 years left before graduating from your current programme.

Strong written and verbal communication skills – fluent in written and spoken English - all materials are produced in English as the corporate language.

IT skills (Office package – Word, Excel, PPT, Microsoft 365).

Experience in digital communications channels - SharePoint, social media, Email, CMS
-
Flair for, and interest in, visual design and graphics (experience in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. is a plus).
